COSMÓPOLIS is a research group (CNPQ) dedicated to investigating the spatial practices that make up multiple cosmologies, insurgencies and urban coexistences.

It aims to study, prototype and disseminate other imaginaries through curatorships, pedagogies, actions, publishing projects, in dialog with the arts, politics, climate issues and traditional knowledge.

Created in 2014 and based at the School of Architecture and Design at UFMG, it hosts study groups, citizen movements and various meetings , as well as functioning as a shared workspace and a platform for promoting projects of public interest.
